1. Who we are

Innovate Prime Academy is run by Innovate Prime Ltd (company no. 16858556), registered office 66 Surrey Drive, Coventry, CV3 1PL. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about privacy at hello@innovateprime.co.uk or 07932 695378.

2. What we collect when you register interest

• About you: your name, email, phone number and postcode.
• About your child: their first name, age and how much computer experience they have.
• Planning: which days suit you, how you heard about us, and any message you add.
• Additional needs: only whether you'd like to talk to us about support. We deliberately don't ask for medical or health details on the website; we discuss them with you by phone and record them on the enrolment form.

We don't ask for your child's surname, date of birth, school or home address at this stage.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To contact you about places, sessions and enrolment. Legal basis: your consent, given when you register, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To plan sessions (for example, how many children of each age and which days suit families). We use anonymous totals for this.
• To keep children safe, including acting on safeguarding concerns. Legal basis: our legal obligations and the vital interests of the child.

We never use your information for marketing other products, and we never sell it or share it for advertising.

4. Who can see it

• Only Academy staff who need it, through a password-protected back office.
• Our website hosting and email providers, who store it on our behalf under contract.
• We share information with schools or other organisations only with your permission, except where the law requires us to share it to protect a child.

5. How long we keep it

• Registrations of interest: deleted 12 months after we last contacted you if your child doesn't take up a place, or sooner if you ask.
• Enrolled children: explained on the enrolment form.
• Security records (a scrambled version of your IP address used to stop spam): deleted within 24 hours.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold, ask us to stop using it, or withdraw consent at any time: email hello@innovateprime.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

7. Cookies and statistics

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. We count page views and which websites send visitors, without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. Our staff back office uses one strictly necessary sign-in cookie.
